IMX 2025 Shanghai Announces Fourth Wave of Speakers

SHANGHAI, CHINA – IMX announces the fourth round of speakers for its fifth edition in Shanghai, taking place October 22-25, 2025. Presented in conjunction with Music China at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Hall N3), the event continues to strengthen its program under the theme “2025 Connection.”

This announcement adds 19 speakers, including 7 international executives and 12 Chinese industry leaders and artists. They will participate in the main conference sessions, contributing to a global dialogue on the music industry’s innovation ecosystem alongside previously announced speakers from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), Independent Music Coalition Japan (IMCJ), The Record Label Industry Association of Korea (LIAK), Taihe Music Group, Kuaishou Music and many more.

IMX 2025 - Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson, CEO of Tristar Records (UK), has over 30 years of experience in the music industry. He leads the digital-focused Tristar Records, collaborating with major DSPs and YouTube music stars. His expertise covers neighboring rights, artist development, publishing, and sync licensing, with brand partnerships including Renault and Samsung.

IMX 2025 - Robert Singerman

Robert Singerman, VP of International Publishing at LyricFind (Canada), is a music industry veteran known as the “father of music subtitles.” He previously represented legendary artists like R.E.M. and James Brown. He co-founded LyricFind, the world’s leading lyric licensing platform, and the .MUSIC domain to create a dedicated online identity for the global music community.

IMX 2025 - Arseny Kozymaev

Arseny Kozymaev, Head of Audio Copyright at Yandex Music (Russia), has over a decade of experience in entertainment and technology, formerly with Sony Music. He now leads content strategy and partnerships for Yandex Music, a leading streaming service in the region, focusing on licensing and data-driven growth.

Simon Zhakin, Founder of Embers Digital (Russia), is an expert in the independent music sector. His company, Embers Digital, provides professional distribution services for independent artists, focusing on detailed metadata management and copyright protection.

IMX 2025 - Alexey Evseev

Alexey Evseev, Director of ANO Creative Economy (Russia), leads a prominent development center for the creative industries, organizing major federal-level events. He brings extensive experience in strategic consulting and public affairs, having previously held positions at Russia’s central bank and in public service.

IMX 2025 - Kerem Dere

Kerem Dere, Director of Corporate Development at JUZ Entertainment (Kazakhstan), is a co-founder of JUZ Entertainment, a leading music label and production center in Central Asia. He focuses on developing the regional entertainment ecosystem and fostering international collaborations for Kazakh music.

IMX 2025 - Tinko

Tinko Georgiev, VP of International Business at Kanjian Music, is responsible for the global expansion and strategic partnerships of the leading Chinese music service platform. He works to deepen relationships with international streaming platforms, rights organizations, and creators to connect China’s music ecosystem to the world.

IMX 2025 - 陈向宏

Chen Xianghong, Founder of Wuzhen Tourism, is a renowned planner and expert in the management of large-scale cultural tourism destinations. He famously led the development of the Wuzhen “art town,” transforming it into a global cultural landmark, and has since designed numerous other major tourism projects across China.

IMX 2025 - 李巍

Carol Li Wei, Vice President of NetEase Cloud Music, is a key executive at one of China’s top music streaming platforms. She has deep expertise in music technology and advocates for copyright normalization, industry order, and the support of original musicians, with a focus on fair and transparent royalty distribution.

Kidd He Zhennan, Vice President of Ecosystem at Dragonfly FM, oversees the commercialization strategy and business operations for the major audio platform. His responsibilities include corporate, membership, advertising, and copyright marketing.

IMX 2025 - 林芯翼

Lynn Lin Xinyi, Head of Mountains Music, was formerly a director for hit variety shows like The Voice of China. Her agency, Mountains Music, specializes in creating “music manifestos” for major brands by collaborating with top-tier artists like Mao Buyi and Tan Weiwei to produce theme songs.

Pink Xiaofen, Representative of Qingyun LAB at NetEase Cloud Music, is a veteran music business expert with 15 years of experience as a music editor, journalist, and artist manager. At NetEase’s original music studio, she focuses on copyright, A&R, and artist operations.

IMX 2025 - 张栋梁

Benson Zhang Dongliang, CEO of Chapter 2 Entertainment, has 16 years of experience in media and entertainment. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he founded Chapter 2 Entertainment in Madrid to connect Spanish-speaking artists with Asia and bring Asian talent to Europe and South America. He previously held roles at Billboard China Radio and YouTube Music Taiwan.

IMX 2025 - 王欣宇

Zoe Wang Xinyu, Founder & Musician at Good Good Planet Label, is an independent singer-songwriter who gained viral fame with hits like “Convenience Store for Wishes,” which achieved billions of streams. She has appeared on major shows like The Voice of China and in 2023 founded China’s first all-female music label.

IMX 2025 - 王悦

Wang Yue, Co-Founder of Good Good Planet Label, has a background in major national media and founded the popular “Folk Story” music media network. In 2018, she founded the music label Zao Yin, promoting over 300 shows for various artists before co-founding Good Good Planet in 2023.

IMX 2025 - 王宁

Wang Ning, Co-Founder & Creative Director of Good Good Planet Label, holds a Master’s degree in International Journalism and has a background in national radio. As Creative Director, she applies communication theory and youth culture insights to build the label’s brand, focusing on content innovation and storytelling for female artists.

IMX 2025 - 柯泯薰

Misi Ke, Musician, Producer, and Actor, is a landmark female singer-songwriter in the Mandopop scene. Her debut film was selected for the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and in 2023 she collaborated with Japanese psychedelic rock band Fake Creators. She is known for her deeply emotional live performances and artistic versatility.

IMX 2025 - 8bite

8bite, Musician, is a Z-generation singer-songwriter who was named a “Remarkable New Voice of 2024” by NetEase Cloud Music. His breakout track “frozen heart.” topped the Douyin hot songs chart. He has quickly gained a large following for his unique style blending R&B, Bedroom, and ElectroPop.

IMX 2025 - Gwyn

Gwyn, Musician, is a Hong Kong-born, Sydney-based singer-songwriter and producer. Her music, which fuses electronic, pop, and rock, has received significant airplay on Australia’s Triple J and FBi Radio and has been featured on major Spotify playlists, including “New Music Friday.”
