IMX to Host ‘She Is Also Good’ Showcase, Spotlighting Women in Music
SHANGHAI, CHINA – The International Music X has announced a special segment for its 2025 Shanghai conference: ‘She Is Also Good’ (女也很好), a series of showcases and conversations dedicated to female creators in the music industry.
Running daily from October 23-25, the initiative provides a platform for female artists to share their creative journeys, industry insights, and personal stories. The sessions are designed to echo the global conversation on diversity and to highlight the essential role women play in shaping the music business.
Featured Artists
Misi Ke (柯泯薰): A leading singer-songwriter, producer, and actress whose work has gained international recognition. Her debut film was selected for the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and she has collaborated with Japanese artists, consistently pushing artistic boundaries.
Zoe Wang (王欣宇): An independent artist and founder of ‘Good Good Planet’ (好好星球), an all-female music label. She is a key figure in building a supportive infrastructure for female musicians in China.
Liu Limin (刘莉旻): A prominent Cantonese singer-songwriter and member of ‘Good Good Planet’, known for her popular singles and appearances on major folk music programs.
Zhang Yu (张钰): A singer-songwriter and member of ‘Good Good Planet’ who gained widespread attention on the major talent show “Youth With You 2” for her distinct vocal style and independent attitude.
Meddhi Fu (傅如乔): A vocalist and member of ‘Good Good Planet’ whose hit song “Wei Wei” surpassed 1 billion plays online.
